Life in Person Updates
Welcome to the Life in Person Blog, What to Expect
Description
A first update from Life in Person, with what this blog will cover, including GLP1 medications, my updates and the Suggestion Box.
Post
Welcome to the first post on the Life in Person blog. Life in Person is a peer support service for people who live with binge eating disorder, and this blog is a new space where I can share more of what I am thinking about and working on than fits on the rest of the website.
There will be four kinds of posts here.
The first is GLP1 Medications. These posts look at what is being said about GLP1 medications and what it means for people who live with binge eating disorder, from a peer support point of view rather than a medical one.
The second is Life in Person Updates, which is where I will share how things are going and what I am working on, so that anyone following along can see what is happening behind the scenes.
The third is the Suggestion Box. This is my view, as someone with lived experience, of what is needed in binge eating disorder support compared with what is on offer and who is providing it.
The fourth is Weekly Posts. These are short posts about what is being reported and said on eating disorders, and what it means for people who live with binge eating disorder.
Everything on this blog comes from the perspective of lived experience, because I believe that is what makes peer support different. My hope is that you find something here that helps you feel understood.
If you are not sure where to start, you are welcome to book a free 10 minute phone call using the link at the top of the website.
