Binge Eating Disorder

and Men

Binge eating disorder in men is underdiagnosed and rarely talked about. Most of the resources out there were not built with men in mind.

Life in Person has sessions specifically for men.

Understanding the Link

Binge eating in men is often overlooked or misunderstood. Many men experience these patterns but do not recognise them as binge eating, or do not feel comfortable talking about it.

  • Eating patterns linked to stress or pressure

  • Periods of restriction followed by loss of control

  • Increased evening or late night eating

  • Eating connected to fatigue or sleep disruption

  • Difficulty discussing eating behaviour or seeking support

Support for Men

Peer Support Groups

Sessions where you can talk about what is happening with your eating, without having to explain why it is hard to talk about or justify why it matters.

Workshops

Practical workshops focused on the specific patterns that show up for men, including stress eating, evening eating, and what to do when restriction leads to loss of control.

Masterclass

Deeper sessions on topics relevant to men in recovery, including how stress, sleep, and routine affect eating and what actually helps.

Drop In Sessions

A free informal time to ask questions and find out what is available, with no pressure to commit to anything.

One on One Support
